Banks bourses closed on sunday Bangladeshi banks and stock exchanges will remain open for an additional 30 minutes during the ongoing coronavirus blockade.
The central bank said in a statement on Friday that the bank was closed on Sundays in addition to the weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays. Due to fashion restrictions, many modifications have been made to banking and business hours.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission spokesman Mohammad Rezaul Karim said the stock market will remain closed in August in line with banks. However, bdnews24.com reports that business hours will be extended by 30 minutes next week to 2:30 pm.
