Home and Away actor Dieter Brummer dies aged 45 Brumer was found dead in a Sydney home in response to a welfare appeal from NSW Police on Saturday.
Police said his death was not considered suspicious.
In a statement released on Monday, the Brumer family said, “We have lost our beautiful, talented, funny, complex and beloved dieter.
“He left a huge hole in our lives and our world can never be one,” he added.
“Our hearts go out to those of you who have known, loved or worked with him for years.”

Brumer was very popular at home and outdoors in the 1990s with Melissa George’s Angel Brooks love interest play.
Australia’s Home and Away Seven network said it was “deeply saddened” by the news.
A statement said: “Dieter was a cast member of Home and Away and was celebrated by Australian and international audiences.

Brumer joined the 15-year-old Home and Away and became a fan favorite – crowned as the Most Popular Actor at the Australian Logie TV Awards in 1995 and 1996.
He was twice voted “Prince of Soap” by readers of Dolly Magazine, as the public was mesmerized by his history with George.
