Golf pro Gene Siller shot Police are trying to find the one that shot and killed golf professional Gene Siller at a rustic club north of Atlanta on Saturday.

Cobb County police skilled a report of an individual shot around 2:20 p.m. and located Siller on the green of the 10th hole of the Pinetree club in Kennesaw, consistent with a news release from the local department .
Siller, who was a club employee, was found unresponsive with an “apparent gunshot wound to the head” and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Golf pro Gene Siller shot Police discovered the truck still on the green and located the bodies of two men within the bed of the truck, the discharge said. Both victims also suffered apparent gunshot wounds, consistent with police.
One of the lads was identified as Paul Pierson, the registered owner of the Ram 3500, but the opposite victim has yet to be identified, consistent with police.
Police are still checking out the suspect, who has not been identified.

The Georgia State Golf Association expressed its condolences for Siller’s death. “All folks at the GSGA are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred earlier today at Pinetree CC. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gene Siller’s family and friends,” the association tweeted.

“Tragedy has stricken the Georgia Section PGA within the loss of our Member, Gene Siller. Thoughts and prayers for his family and therefore the Pinetree club family,” Georgia’s Professional Golfers’ Association tweeted.
PGA of America President Jim Richerson also issued a statement: “We are truly heartbroken to listen to about the senseless murder that happened yesterday at pine club in Georgia that took the lifetime of PGA member Gene Siller,” the statement said. “PGA of America sends our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to his family, club and therefore the Georgia PGA Community.”
Siller’s family found out a GoFundMe page to assist with finances.

Gene Siller, a 41-year-old pro golfer, was shot and killed on Saturday while on the golf links at Pinetree club in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Golf pro Gene Siller shot Siller worked at Pinetree club , and was at the 10th hole finding out a white pickup that had driven onto the course and into a bunker , consistent with a witness who spoke to local news station 11 Alive. When Siller approached the vehicle, he was allegedly shot and killed by the driving force . Another witness told 11 Alive that they heard five gunshots during a row.

According to police, the suspect has not been caught. No motive has been identified and it isn’t known what events led up to the shooting.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reported that Siller, a husband and father of two, had worked at several area golf courses over the years. He’d also regularly participated in Georgia PGA Section golf tournaments since 2007.

“He was an excellent nice guy with two young kids and a gorgeous wife,” Summit Chase member Marc Cain told the Gwinnett Daily Post. “I need to spend an honest deal of your time with him on the course and on a golf trip. Our hearts are ripped out with the sad news.”

Several Georgia golf associations tweeted their condolences.

Three men including pro golfer Gene Siller were killed by an assailant who drove through a Georgia club and began shooting Saturday afternoon, CBS Atlanta affiliate WGCL-TV reports. The suspect was still on the loose early Monday and will be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

Golf pro Gene Siller shot Cobb County Police said they found the body of Director of Golf Eugene Siller on the green of the 10th hole of the Pinetree club in Kennesaw. He had a gunshot wound to the top .

Officers also found a white Dodge Ram 3500 pick-up truck that belonged to Paul Pierson on the green. Then, they found Pierson’s body which of another man within the pick-up’s bed. Both had been shot.

The other man hasn’t been identified yet but is assumed to possess been Hispanic.

One witness told WGCL, “It was just quite a frenzy and everybody was trying to work out what was happening .”

The Georgia State Golf Association tweeted its condolences to Siller’s family, as did the golf Association (PGA).
