Hip-Hop Song That’s Driving Cuba’s Unprecedented  Cuba is suffering from severe shortages of food and electricity for summer medicine. The eating Cubans took to the streets in unprecedented protests – and they expressed their outrage through the song Patria y Vida – homeland and life.

This slogan is the decades-old slogan of the communist regime “Patriya and Murte” – homeland or whirlpool of death. The article strongly accuses the government of undermining Cuban living standards, a message that received a petition with activists demanding rapid change.
