Jeff Bezos make history with flight into space The richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, is about to set off on a supersonic tide to the edge of space.

It will fly over a suborbital capsule and rocket system called New Sherpard, built by its space agency Blue Origin. He also brings a few guests on the inaugural ride – his brother Mark Bezos; Wally Funk, an 82-year-old pilot and one of the “Mercury 13” women; Oliver Daiman, an 18-year-old recent high school graduate, will be New Shepard’s first paying customer.

People will be able to see it all on Blue Origin’s live stream – which will be at 3.30am CT / :: 30.00pm. Will start from. As it spreads through space, visitors can expect additional photos of rockets and capsules. (Interior shots – and Bezos’ facial expressions – won’t be shown until after the flight)
There will be reporters on the ground from CNN Business and a live blog will be up and running on Tuesday morning (here) that will also broadcast live feeds.
Neil Origin is also expected to hold a post-flight press briefing with Bases and his companions.
Here’s a breakdown of all the important times of the day (Note: T says “before the elevator.” If all goes according to plan, “T” will be 9 am ET. Will be):
Bezos will attempt to fly into space on Tuesday, July 20 by launching a rocket and capsule built by Amazon Origin’s private space company, Blue Origin. This will be the first crewed launch of Blue Origin’s new Shepard rocket, and if successful, Bezos will make history by participating in the first unplanned commuter flight with a civilian crew.

Some additional milestones can be set on the journey. Join the Bezos to become the passenger who is the oldest person to reach the destination and the other who becomes the youngest

Ally, 2, Wally Funk is a former experimental pilot who was one of 13 Mercury 13s trained in the 1960s to make women meet NASA standards for his astronaut corps. Bezos’ brother Mark scored four goals.

“I have dreamed of space travel since I was five,” Bases wrote in an Instagram post on June 7 announcing the flight. “On July 20, I will be taking this trip with my brother. It will be the greatest adventure with my best friend.”

The New Shepard rocket was launched southeast of El Paso from a site in the West Texas desert. Since this is a suborbital flight, the capsule will not orbit the Earth, but will reach the edge of space at an altitude of about 65 miles, where passengers will be able to feel for a few minutes of ‘weightlessness.

The capsule will then descend under a parachute to the Texas desert. The whole trip should take around 10 minutes.

The launch is an important step for the blue source, which is banking on the future market for players with high added value in space. Blue Origin hopes to start operational flights with paying passengers in the near future, and after the company does not announce the price of individual tickets, they are expected to spend several million dollars.

Bezos began trying to reach space on July 11 after Branson participated in a risky test flight in a rocket-propelled vehicle built by his private space agency Virgin Galactic. Unlike Virgin Galactic’s Unity spacecraft, however, the New Shepard rocket and capsule spontaneously fly without an aircraft.

The Blue Origin capsule is also designed to reach higher altitudes than Virgin Galactic vehicles. The edge of space is often defined by the so-called Kerman Line at an altitude of 62 miles. After the New Shepard capsule climbed above the Kerman Line, the Virgin Galactic spacecraft reached an altitude of about 53 miles during Branson’s flight.

That inequality has intensified competition between rival billionaires, with Blue Origin officials suggesting Virgin Galactic planes may not land.

Branson and his crew were fit to receive their commercial astronaut wings, as the Federal Aviation Administration and the U.S. Air Force recognized the space border 50 miles away.
