Suspect charged in triple homicide that killed pro golfer Gene Siller

Suspect charged  has been charged with a triple murder that killed golfer Gene Siller on Saturday, officials said Thursday. Bryan Anthony Rhoden has three murders, three assaults and two abductions, and is said to be the only gunman.

Many of the details surrounding the case remain unclear. Police said they had previously found Siller’s body at Pinetree Country Club’s 10th hole green in Kennesaw, Ga. With a gunshot wound to the head, and also found the bodies of two other men who had been shot. From the white Dodge Ram 3500. pickup truck on the golf course.

The other two men have been identified as Paul Pierson and Henry Valdez.

During a news conference on Thursday, officials did not provide further information on the causes of the crime – but police said Siller was shot earlier after he “happened to be in a constant crime.”

“It does not appear that he was treated in any way, but rather that he was killed because he was a witness to an active crime,” authorities said Tuesday.

Police also said the two men who died in the truck did not appear to have any connection to the crime scene.

Tim Cox, Chief of Police of Cobb County, thanked the detectives who worked to arrest Rhoden.
